Bella is getting better

This is just a quick report on Bella for those who may be tracking her progress. I know there are cat lovers out there just like me.

We took her to the vet last Friday. There seems to be no infection from her "bite" wounds, they seem to be healing up just fine. She still has some inflammation in her gums, though. The vet tells me this is a common problem for cats even after getting the teeth cleaned. Perhaps it is due to a particular bacteria that cats have in their mouths. It is perhaps the same bad germ that gives cats abscesses when bitten by another cat. So she got another steroid shot and we must continue squirting that evil tasting (according to Bella) oral mouthrinse into her mouth.

Otherwise, Bella seems fine. She has returned to her normal routines and is returning to her usual loudness as well. What a relief. We will just keep watch and take her back in 3 weeks (per the vet's instructions) for another steroid shot (if necessary).
